Summer golf is all about staying comfortable, not restricting your swing and trying not to look like a complete mess by the time you get to the 18th green. The right fabrics, fits and shoes can help. These are three summer golf looks I’ve tested that make hot-weather golf a little easier to survive.

The FootJoy Women’s Pro/SL in white/blue were some of the best spikeless shoes I tested this year, and I love how well the blue accents tie into this look. The Talia Performance Skort is really more like wearing shorts with a wrap front which makes it unique but still comfortable and easy to play in.

B. Draddy polos have also been some of my favorites this year. They hold up well in the heat, I’ve noticed no quality issues round after round, and they come out of the dryer ready to wear again.

You can tell right away that these Sun Day Red pieces were built by golfers. The Icon Skort is one of my favorite-fitting skorts because it stays in place and comfortable through the round. The Icon Polo has the same on-course feel although I do think it runs a bit small so I’d size up if you’re particular about fit. The Women’s Osprey shoes have been one of my go-to choices this year. I like them on and off the course and can easily walk 18 holes in them.

The TravisMathew Move Knit Dress is one of those golf dresses that feels a little more complete because of the collar. It gives the dress enough structure to feel course-ready. The Move Knit Dress is comfortable and easy to wear and I like that it comes in several colors. The adidas Women’s Gazelle would not be my first choice if I was walking 18 holes but from a styling standpoint, it works really well with a golf dress like this. It gives the outfit a more casual, everyday look without taking it too far away from the course.
