District Collector and GVMC Special Officer M. Abhishikth Kishore said on Monday that an action plan would be prepared to redevelop the TTD Kalyana Mandapam in MVP Colony with modern and state-of-the-art facilities.

Mr. Kishore, along with GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, inspected the TTD Kalyana Mandapam, adjoining office building and vacant sites on either side of the TTD Kalyana Mandapam Junction in the East Zone. He enquired about the extent, present use and other details of the properties.

He directed Seethammadhara Tahsildar Prasad, TTD Manager Venkataramana and East Zone Zonal Commissioner K. Sivaprasad to conduct a comprehensive survey of the mandapam, adjoining buildings and vacant sites near the junction and submit a detailed report immediately.

Mr. Kishore said the redevelopment would be planned to meet future requirements. GVMC Chief City Planner A. Prabhakar Rao, Executive Engineer Gangadhar, Kalyana Mandapam Manager Haimavathi, Assistant Medical Officer B. Prasada Rao, GVMC TPO Prameela and other officials participated in the inspection.
