Aruban flag (Wikimedia)A constituent country belonging to the Netherlands and located in the southern Caribbean Sea north of Venezuela, Aruba shipped US$146.6 million worth of exported products around the globe in 2025.
That calculated dollar amount results from a 65.9% increase from $88.3 million worth of exports 5 years earlier during 2021.
Year over year, the overall value of Aruban exports fell by -21% compared to $185.5 million starting from 2024.
Aruba’s 5 most valuable exports are turbo-jets, medication mixes not in dosage, miscellaneous fresh fruits, fresh or dried grapes, then avocadoes, pineapples, guavas and mangoes. Collectively, this quintet of lucrative exported products generated over one-third (33.9%) of Aruba’s overall international sales in 2025.
The latest available country-specific data from 2023 shows that 100% of products exported from Aruba were bought by importers in: Colombia (66% of the Aruban total), United States of America (22.8%), Curaçao (5.6%), Netherlands (3.6%) and Panama (2.1%).
Given Aruba’s population of some 109,00 people, its total US$146.6 million in 2025 exports translates to about $1,350 for every resident on the tourism-driven Caribbean island. That dollar metric lags the average $1,550 per capita one year earlier in 2024.
The following export product groups represent the highest dollar value in Aruban global shipments during 2025 presented at the 2-digit Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) code level. Also shown is the percentage share each export category represents in terms of overall exports from Aruba.
