Addressing a rally in West Bengal’s Katwa on Saturday (April 11, 2026), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the Trinamool Congress’ 15-year rule in the State has given nothing but fear to every citizen of the State.
PM Modi said that in the first Cabinet meeting after the BJP forms government in West Bengal, Ayushman Bharat health scheme will be implemented.

“The BJP will not stop the TMC government’s schemes but will end its corruption, loot. We will release a white paper on the corruption of the TMC’s ‘nirmam sarkar’ (cruel government). Policies of the TMC’s ‘cruel’ government have destroyed the future of potato farmers in the State,” PM Modi said. Further, he said action will be taken against those involved in political violence in the State.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said, “AIADMK lacks ideology or principle; Delhi BJP office functions as its headquarters.”
