It's the 28th two-day Test in men's cricket history.

The three most recent have all taken place in Australia in the last 12 months.

In fact, in the last 20 Tests that have been played on these shores, it has happened four times.

Australia thumped South Africa on a Gabba green top in 2022, and then there were two, two-day Tests during last summer's Ashes, one in Perth and the other at the MCG.

The only Australia-hosted Test to finish inside two days before that game in Brisbane four years ago took place in Melbourne against the West Indies, in February 1931.

Eleven of the two-day Tests in history took place before World War I (between 1882 and 1912), a further three happened either side of World War II (1931-1946).

There were then none between 1946 and 1999.

However, since 2000, there have been 13 of them.

Pat Cummins is speaking now.

"I thought everyone was really sharp," he says.

It was a great start and we didn't let up after that."

Cummins is also full or praise for the only batter who really stepped up this series, Cameron Green.

"He looked in total command of his batting in this series," Cummins says.

"We know how good he is. Lots of cricket coming up, hopefully he carries on."

He says it's a "slightly different feel" to being away from the normal Test playing venues.

However, he says the entire team have enjoyed being in the north.

Najmul Hossain Shanto is speaking now.

"We all know how good they are," Shanto says.

"They showed their character and, as the Bangladesh Test team, we didn't show our best."

He says the extra bounce was a problem, and the extra swing was "a challenge" for Bangladesh.

He says the series has a whole has been "a very proud moment" for the team.

He adds that he doesn't want to have to wait 23 years to play a Test in Australia again.

"If we have the chance to play here [regularly] it will help us improve our game."

No surprises there.

He took 12 wickets at 12.08 for the series, including 10 wickets in this left-arm seamers' paradise.

"A much better week," Starc says of this Test match.

"We we expect from ourselves, we got this match."

Starc says it's been a "nice wicket" to bowl on, likening it to the Gabba.

The two left armers have absolutely torn the batting line ups to shreds in this match.

Josh Hazlewood is speaking to Fox Sports.

He's pretty scathing of the standard of batting...

"I don't think it should necessarily have been a two-day game," Hazlewood says.

"I think there was obviously a little bit of seam movement day one in the morning.

"You'd expect that in most Test matches.

"But once the shine went off the ball it didn't do a great deal from a bowling point of view.

"I thought it played better than [a two-day pitch]."

Bangladesh all out for 95.

We go to tea with the hosts requiring a further two wickets for an innings victory inside two days.

Mitch Starc and Pat Cummins were absolutely sensational in that session, with Cummins reaching tea with figures of 3-10 from his 10 overs and Starc 4-39.

Mushfiqur hasn't faced much of Lyon in recent overs, but he begins Lyon's 10th on strike.

He defends the first delivery of the set and then works a single through point.

He gets one that tails in towards him, and he defends it well.

He's then shouldering arms outside off.
