Troubled Bachelor star Sam Wood is due to appear before the Supreme Court in a bid for bail after being charged with domestic violence offences allegedly involving his wife, Snezana.
Wood was arrested on October 3 after an alleged incident at the couple’s holiday accommodation in Noosa, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, which reportedly costs $3,000 a night.
The 46-year-old is scheduled to appear in the Brisbane Supreme Court on Friday, having spent almost a month in custody at Brisbane’s Wolston Correctional Centre.
His lawyers are also expected to seek non-publication orders, which could prevent or limit media organisations from reporting details of the case beyond what is heard in court.
The application will be heard by Justice Patrick McCafferty.
If bail is granted, Wood would be released from custody and is expected to travel to an interstate address while defending the charges.
Wood faces charges of assault occasioning bodily harm and strangulation in a domestic setting.
At his initial bail hearing in Maroochydore Magistrates Court, lawyers told the court an argument allegedly erupted while the couple were holidaying with their three young daughters and Wood’s adult stepdaughter, Eve.

The alleged dispute began as the couple packed their belongings to return to their home in Melbourne.
The court heard Wood allegedly grabbed his wife by the throat with one hand before throwing her against a wall.
He is also accused of holding her throat tightly while she was on the floor, restricting her breathing.
Magistrate Janelle Boegheim said it was alleged that Wood grabbed Snezana by the throat and threw her into a hallway wall, causing her head to strike it.
The court was told he then allegedly threw her to the ground and continued gripping her throat, obstructing her airway and preventing her from breathing.
According to the court, Snezana told police she believed during the alleged ordeal that her life was about to end.
The court heard Wood’s stepdaughter, Eve Markoski-Wood, told him to stop shouting at her mother. He allegedly then moved aggressively towards her, prompting Snezana to step between them.
Ms Markoski-Wood called Triple Zero and told police that Wood had allegedly harmed her mother.
During the initial hearing, Wood’s lawyer Mathew Cuskelly denied that any strangulation had occurred and said his client’s account suggested he might be able to rely on self-defence.
Wood is now represented by a new legal team, which includes barrister Paul Morreau KC.

The development comes as the fitness business founded by Sam Wood 10 years ago quietly rebranded amid the domestic violence charges
The court appearance comes as the fitness business founded by Wood a decade ago undergoes a quiet rebrand, in an apparent effort to retain existing customers and attract new ones amid the charges.
Wood sold Australian Life Tech, the parent company of 28 by Sam Wood, to myDNA for a reported $71 million in 2022, although he continued working with the brand under its new ownership.
Less than a month after parent company DBF Health ended all commercial arrangements with Wood following his arrest, the business announced a new name, Evvr, on Instagram.
On Wednesday, the company shared a video featuring several prominent fitness trainers introducing the rebranded business and its “fresh” new look.
Pilates instructor Alice Bennett said viewers would soon see a new name and visual identity.
She said the company was carrying forward everything it had built together, including its popular trainers, workouts and community.
Bennett described the change as “a new look, a new chapter, but with the same heart”, before introducing the brand as Evvr.
Fitness figures Miguel La Cruz Mayeye, Jossman Holdsworth, Chloe Lorback, Max Pertzel and Zoe Klein also featured in the video.
