Breaking News! Borat slammed in the new second Ali G Who Iz I? Trailer, burning question do we really care? Amazon MGM Studios think we do.

Let’s get one thing straight, every week films come out and try their best to cater for all tastes. Sometimes those films are sequels or prequels of films not always the films you expect like Ali G. We wonder what filmmakers are thinking in their choices, nearly 30 years later Sacha Baron Cohen bringing Ali back with humour that’s redundant. Mocking cultures especially Jamaican and offensive which some cinema chains not showing the film.

Ali G Who Iz I? stars and directed by Cohen along side Morgana Robinson as Julie. Ali finds his Julie is now pregnant and is forced to rethink his life, heads to the U.S.

Above is only a personal opinion and I wasn’t a fan when Ali was on British television. It will find an audience, will that audience actually laugh? We didn’t and it’s a bit of an oddball…

Synopsis | After twenty years spent “chillin’, tokin’ and bonin’”, Ali G is shocked to discover that his long-term girlfriend, Julie, is 8 months pregnant. Faced with an extra mouth to feed, he gets off his batty and heads to America to reclaim his former glory… but soon encounters adversaries who will ultimately threaten his and his child’s very existence. Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film, ALI G: WHO IZ I? marks his directorial debut and will be released in cinemas on October 23 by Amazon MGM Studios.

Ali G Who Iz I? will be in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas only for weekend of 23rd October then heading to Prime Video.
