A 21-year-old Woodstock driver has been charged with stunt driving.

A Brant Count OPP officer was conducting speed enforcement at noon on Monday, June 8 and stopped a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Puttown Road.

The vehicle was recorded traveling at about 100 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone, resulting in charges of drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed, and speeding 50+ km/h over posted limit, said police.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle impounded for 14 days.
Driver faces impaired charge
A 29-year-old Brantford woman was arrested following an impaired driving investigation.
A Brant County OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Colborne Street East at Brant County Road 18 at about 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9.
After speaking with the driver, the accused was taken into custody and charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
