BUDAPEST: The Hungarian capital is Nazi-occupied Paris in the WWII drama The Nightingale directed by Michael Morris, which brings Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning for the first time on screen.
The shooting is taking place in the heart of Budapest’s District V (Museum Boulevard, Henszlmann Imre Street, Károlyi Garden, etc), according to Budapest Reporter, and it is expected to benefit from the 30% local film incentive.
Fanning sisters are also producing this adaptation of Kristin Hannah’s bestseller The Nightingale.
