BALAGHAT: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke was heckled by a group of people during his visit to Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat district, where more than 30 children have reportedly died from infectious diseases.Dipke visited Adori, Korka and Bondari villages on Saturday to meet families of tribal children and gather information about healthcare facilities in the area.A video circulating on social media showed a woman identifying herself as an influencer approaching Dipke as he was leaving in a car.She asked whether he had come to "do politics on corpses" and questioned why he was visiting the area so late.Dipke then apologised for the delay in visiting the area, while the woman said, "A good road has been constructed here. Can't you see it?"The situation escalated as CJP workers accompanying Dipke moved him to another car and took him away.As Dipke left, the woman was heard saying "he ran away, he ran away."

The incident comes as the Madhya Pradesh high court has sought a response from the state government over the deaths of more than 30 children in the region. The court issued notices to the state Health Department, Women and Child Development Department, Balaghat collector and others while hearing a PIL alleging that children were not receiving adequate treatment.

The petition also claimed that around 400 children were being treated at a hospital with a capacity of 50 beds.A report prepared by the petitioner alleged widespread filth in the area and claimed that these conditions were causing infections, with children continuing to die from diseases.According to news agecny PTI, local journalists said they were surprised to see a group of social media influencers from outside the area arriving in the remote villages during Dipke's visit. They also questioned whether the group had been sent by someone to disrupt the CJP founder's visit.(With PTI inputs)
