A Historic Centennial: The upcoming Games in Santo Domingo mark exactly 100 years since the multi-sport event was founded in 1926, making it the oldest regional multi-sport competition in the world.

  Rigorous Selection Criteria: For this edition, the Costa Rican National Olympic Committee (CON) prioritized high-performance technical standards. They selected athletes with a realistic projection to finish in the top 8 of their disciplines or actively contend for medals.

  The Tico Delegation: Costa Rica will compete across various high-profile disciplines, including surfing, athletics, cycling (with 13 confirmed spots across road, time trial, MTB, and BMX), swimming, karate, triathlon, and fencing.

Historical Note: This marks the third time Santo Domingo hosts the event, having previously welcomed the region’s top athletes in 1974 and 1986.
