EastEnders fans were left confused tonight when a character made a surprise appearance in Walford despite having been on holiday with his family as part of a big storyline.

EastEnders fans were left puzzled when a character made a surprise appearance in Walford despite having left Albert Square to go on holiday with his family. The BBC soap aired some bizarre scenes tonight amid a new storyline with Billy and Honey Mitchell.

During tonight's episode, it was revealed to fans that Billy Mitchell, wife Honey and their children Will and Janet had been on a long holiday together. New arrival Bea had been housesitting for the family since they left on February 12th.

However, fans have been left puzzled by this new piece of information. Despite their holiday, the family's son Will made an unexpected appearance in Walford during that time on February 25.

When Nugget had a seizure in McClunky’s, bizarrely Will was there to film it - despite the fact he was meant to be on holiday with his family. Fans were quick to point out the seeming 'error'.

One viewer wrote: "So according to today Will is on the (ridiculously long) holiday with his family – did he just pop back for the day the other week so he could film Nugget’s seizure?! I’m becoming disproportionately obsessed with how little sense all this makes."

"So now Will is on holiday with his family? So why was he in Walford to silently stand by and record Nugget’s seizure, which went absolutely nowhere?" a second person penned online.

A third wrote: "Bea mentioned all four of them were on holiday at the moment so how was Will in McClunky’s filming Nugget’s seizure?! Silly. Maybe his first storyline will be about his ability to teleport."

"I assumed there would be some follow up with it going viral but if so it hasn’t happened yet. I still want to know if Will is staying on his own with Bea and if so I want to see those scenes!" a fourth added of the confusing scenes.

Following the scene with Nugget, the teenager was diagnosed with epilepsy, as he's forced to take on a challenging and emotional journey as he comes to term with how the new diagnosis will impact on his daily life.

Executive Producer, Ben Wadey, said of the storyline with Nugget: "We are committed to portraying Nugget’s journey authentically and with sensitivity, so have sought advice from Epilepsy Society to ensure an accurate representation of the challenges a young person may face following their diagnosis."

Elsewhere, fans are convinced new arrival Bea could be part of a huge storyline. One fan mused: "The Bea story is interesting, something in the back of my head makes me wonder if she's Max's bride though."

Another theorised: "The pregnant woman is Bea. I have a feeling they may have a one night stand and Bea may get attached to Max. She’ll want to be with him but he’ll keep rejecting her. She’ll get pregnant from someone else but tell Max it’s his baby."
