Kuldeep Singh created a GoFundMe campaign after his daughter, Fabiana Cabello, was found fatally injured inside her South Richmond Hill home Wednesday. “The funeral home and cemetery are asking for a deposit, and I do not have the money for it,” he wrote.
Two days after Fabiana’s death, Singh appealed for donations to cover the funeral and cemetery expenses.
“I loved my daughter very much, and losing her feels like I lost my whole world,” he wrote.
Singh said continuing to work as a cab driver while coping with the devastating loss has been extremely difficult.
“I am trying to keep working as an Uber driver while driving a rental car, but I am grieving and struggling to manage these costs at the same time,” he said.
Fabiana’s mother, 32-year-old Francis Cabello, was charged with murder Thursday. Police and sources said she allegedly told a 911 operator, “I killed my daughter,” in a chilling confession.
The child was discovered unconscious and unresponsive shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday inside the family’s home on 110th Street near 95th Avenue in South Richmond Hill. Blood was found around her nose and mouth.

Fabiana’s grandfather, Franklin Cabello, previously described the family as devastated. “As a family, we feel mentally and physically destroyed. We can’t think [clearly] but we put our confidence in God,” he told reporters.
Relatives said Francis Cabello had been dealing with psychological problems. Prosecutors said at her Friday arraignment that she may have strangled her daughter.
Preliminary autopsy findings indicated that Fabiana had facial scrapes and petechiae in her eyes, heart and lungs—injuries that can occur in cases involving asphyxia. The medical examiner had not yet determined a final cause of death.
Police said Francis Cabello was taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation after her daughter was found.
Singh said he hopes to provide Fabiana with “a proper funeral and cemetery service,” according to the fundraising appeal.
“Any donation, no matter the amount, would help ease this burden and support me during one of the hardest moments of my life,” he wrote.
He urged those able to contribute to donate or share the fundraiser, adding, “Thank you for supporting my daughter and helping me honor her memory.”
