Gunmen opened fire inside a Greek Orthodox church in Jordan on Friday, about 180 kilometres south of the capital of Amman. Seven people were killed, and 34 were wounded in the attack in Jordan’s Karak governorate, the public security director said at a press conference Friday, adding that the search for the attackers was ongoing. Jordan’s interior ministry said at the same press conference that “extremists” had carried out the attack. Jordan’s King Abdullah visited Karak hours after the attack and said the perpetrators would be punished “with an iron fist.” For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca Subscribe to Global News Channel HERE: http://bit.ly/20fcXDc Follow Global News on X HERE: http://bit.ly/1Toz8mt Follow Global News on TikTok HERE: https://www.tiktok.com/@globalnews.ca?lang=en #jordan #GlobalNews
