GURGAON: A friend of a woman biker chased down and confronted a car driver at a traffic signal after the vehicle allegedly hit her motorcycle on Gurgaon’s Golf Course Road, knocking her off the bike and dragging it for several metres.The incident took place on Sunday when the biker, Sia, was riding her Aprilia RS 457 sports bike with a group of bikers.She sustained injuries after falling onto the road, while the occupants of the car allegedly fled the spot following the collision.According to Sia, one of her friends pursued the car after the incident and managed to catch up with it at a traffic signal.The friend confronted the driver and allegedly told him that he was responsible for hitting Sia and asked him to stop.However, the driver allegedly denied responsibility and fled from the traffic signal, Sia claimed.The entire incident was captured on an action camera fitted to Sia’s motorcycle. She later shared the footage and details of the incident on her Instagram profile.Sia alleged that the car occupants had been following her from the beginning of the ride and appeared to be intoxicated. She said she asked them to maintain a safe distance, but they allegedly asked her to stop.

She continued riding ahead to prevent the car from cutting her off, while a friend riding behind her tried to intervene by positioning his motorcycle to prevent the car from repeatedly coming alongside her.Despite this, Sia alleged, the car continued following her. She claimed that at one point, the driver attempted to cut across the path of her motorcycle, resulting in the collision.The impact knocked Sia off her bike, while the motorcycle was dragged several metres along the road. The car then allegedly fled the area.Sia has appealed to Gurgaon Police to investigate the incident and take action against the driver. She also shared details of the vehicle, including its registration number, in her Instagram post.
