A family is pleading for the safe return of their beloved bunny Biscuit, who was reportedly stolen from the fairgrounds in Markham, Ont. on Sunday, after winning first place. Biscuit, a Holland Lop rabbit who is described as gentle, affectionate and a cherished companion to the family’s young daughter, was taken from his cage before the family could bring him home. The McClelland family were going to pick up the “little champion” on Sunday night. But instead, the family got a call informing them of the disappearance. “We were absolutely devastated. The kids were all heartbroken,” Victoria McClelland told Global News. York Regional Police have been notified, and the family is asking people to keep an eye out for online ads trying to sell Biscuit.
