A bitter rivalry isn't the only thing separating No. 6 Oregon (3-0) and Oregon State (0-3) ahead of the 'Civil War' being revived on Saturday.

Rivals Oregon and Oregon State couldn't have started the 2025 season in more opposite moods coming into Saturday's edition of the 'Civil War'. The Ducks have taken to the water like only they can and sit atop the Big Ten with a seamless 3-0 record, hoping to maintain that average ahead of next week's trip to Penn State.

The Beavers, on the other hand, are yet to win a game and are conceding 38 points on average coming into the Week 4 showdown. This will be Oregon State's second game against ranked opposition after falling 45-14 on the road to Texas Tech last time out.

And the task doesn't look as though it will get any easier in Eugene, where the Ducks have gone undefeated against their nemeses since way back in 2007. The Beavers have managed to spice up the competition in this head-to-head in recent years, but haven't managed a win over their Big Ten rival in the last eight visits.

Head coach Trent Bray may disagree, but many Oregon State fans will be content with the rest of the season being a wash if they see their team win this week. Quarterback Dante Moore & Co. are suggesting that it will be a tall order based on what's been seen out of the Ducks so far this year, however.
