Rangers take on Dundee United this weekend as they look to keep up the pressure in the Scottish Premiership title race

Here's everything you need to know to tune into Rangers vs Dundee United this weekend:
- Kick-off time and date: The match is scheduled to take place this Saturday, April 4, 2026. The game will officially kick off at 3pm UK time.
- Match location: The encounter will be held at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow, the historic home of Rangers. Expect a packed atmosphere as the home side looks to maintain their pressure at the top of the table, after more than 50,000 fans were in attendance for each of Rangers' last three home league games.
- UK TV channel: There is no live domestic television broadcast for this specific fixture in the UK due to the traditional 3pm blackout rule. However, fans outside the UK will still be able to watch live.
- Live stream information: Fans outside the UK and Ireland can watch the match live via RangersTV by purchasing a match pass or holding an international subscription. Within the UK, subscribers can listen to live audio commentary through the RangersTV app or website, as live video is restricted by the aforementioned blackout.
- UK radio coverage: Live national radio updates and commentary are usually provided by BBC Radio Scotland on their Sportsound program, which begins at 2pm and runs until 5.30pm. Local fans can tune in via the BBC Sounds app or on FM/MW frequencies to follow every kick of the game.
- Team news: Rangers are expected to rely on captain James Tavernier and keeper Jack Butland and should be close to full strength, though youngster Bailey Rice remains unavailable. Dundee United are expected to still be without Kristijan Trapanovski and Isaac Pappoe, both of whom have been dealing with recent injury concerns.
- Head-to-head record: The recent history between these two sides has been surprisingly competitive, with their last two meetings in 2025 ending in 2-2 draws. Recently, Rangers have held the upper hand with 17 wins compared to six for Dundee United across their last 27 meetings.
- Latest in the title race: The battle for the Scottish Premiership is incredibly tight, with Rangers currently sitting in second place with 63 points. They are trailing league leaders Hearts by three points and holding a slim two-point lead over rivals Celtic, while opponents Dundee United sit 10 points clear of the relegation places in seventh.
