Jeff Brazier was overcome with emotion on the anniversary of Jade Goody's death after becoming a grandad at 46 and called little Isla Jade 'the greatest gift' after his youngest son Freddy, 21, became a father

In new pictures, doting grandad Jeff Brazier is seen holding his new granddaughter as the family reunited to welcome Isla Jade into the world.

Freddy Brazier, 21, is a dad after girlfriend Holly Swinburn gave birth on Saturday, and showing off the tot to the world proud Jeff beamed as he gave everyone a little look at the adorable new arrival. He uploaded a number of snaps, alongside a topless Freddy and his brother Bobby with Holly at the hospital.

The 46-year-old posted an emotional message on the 17th anniversary of Jade Goody's passing, writing: "Dear Isla Jade. You have no idea how deeply loved you are. There are so many good people standing behind you, and a very special angel watching over you. Mummy and Daddy gave you her name, and were going to tell you all about her.

"You already feel like the greatest gift. I will be forever grateful to Mummy and Daddy for filling my heart and bringing such joy into our lives. Thank you, Holly and Freddy, with all my heart. Holding you is pure peace. All my love, Grandad (Though you’re welcome to call me something a bit cooler when you’re older!)"

Jeff has come to the support of Freddy again after the pair reunited after a spectacular bust-up involving Jackiey Budden, Jade's mum. Freddy was reportedly been living with his maternal grandmother earlier this year, despite Jeff taking legal action to block their contact. Freddy claimed the 68-year-old got him 'hooked on drugs' at the age of 12, something she denies.

Since rekindling his relationship with Holly earlier this year, Freddy has promised to be the "best dad he can be" and was seen beside the new mum and his baby daughter Isla in a black and white picture from hospital.

Holly, 22, discovered she was pregnant in August last year, but by November the pair had split. They reunited at her baby shower and are thought to have recently put their problems to one side. The lad was seen treating Holly to a bunch of red roses while enjoying a romantic walk this month.

Freddy first got together with Holly in June 2025 after they connected on TikTok. Two months later, Holly discovered she was pregnant, but there were complications from the start as Freddy’s grandmother, Jackiey Budden, 69, pushed for a paternity test, which confirmed he was the father.

Freddy was raised by his father along with his brother Bobby, following the death of Big Brother star Jade on Mothers' Day in 2009 from terminal cervical cancer when she was 27. He said recently that he had been talking to his mum about becoming a father, saying: said: "I told her what was going on with the baby and how I am feeling, but sometimes I struggle talking to a headstone."

Speaking about mum Jade recently he said that Mother's Day is a difficult time of year for him as he wishes he had the ability to share the day with Jade. He told The Sun: "I've often looked at people out with their mums on Mother's Day and thought, 'You're so lucky . . . I wish I could have a special day with my mum'. But now, I'll be able to make new memories with my baby daughter."
