Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayBUDAPEST: Production is underway in Budapest for Killing Hitler, a historical action thriller directed by Danny A. Abeckaser. The film marks the feature-film debut of 25-year-old Dylan Douglas (son of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones), who stars alongside David Arquette, both playing the central character across different eras of his life.
The domestic production company providing servicing has not yet been released, however the production is expected to benefit from the local 30% tax rebate, for which the new government has recently removed the cap on new registrations.
Inspired by historian Robert Rockaway’s article The Jewish Plot to Kill Hitler, the script dramatises a 1933 scheme where Jewish-American gangsters plan to travel to Berlin to assassinate Adolf Hitler, bringing them into conflict with US federal investigators trying to stop them, according to Budapest Reporter.
Beside Douglas and Arquette, the cast includes director Danny Abeckaser, Greg Finley and Lorenzo Antonucci, along with Harry Goodwins, Graham Sibley, and Stephen Huszar.
Produced by Abeckaser and Sagi Wolf through 2B Films, shooting began in the Hungarian capital on 13 July 2026.
