Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Wednesday said that its construction and mining machinery business has partnered with French company FAYAT Road Equipment to market BOMAG's specialised road construction equipment in India.
The partnership encompasses marketing, sales, after-sales support and supply of spares.
FAYAT is France's largest independent construction group and a global leader in the road equipment market. Germany-based BOMAG is part of FAYAT's road equipment division and is recognised worldwide for innovative technologies and sustainable solutions for road construction and infrastructure development.
The partnership brings together BOMAG's globally acclaimed road construction technologies and L&T's strong customer relationships, alongside nationwide product support capabilities.
"The specialised BOMAG range of equipment will complement L&T's existing road machinery portfolio, enabling L&T to address a broader range of applications across road construction & maintenance and overall infrastructure development. Together, these products will enable L&T to offer the full range of road machinery to its esteemed customers," Anil V Parab, Senior Executive Vice President and Whole-time Director - Manufacturing, L&T, said.
