Greenwood has won silver in the women's 200m individual medley SM10.

She clocked 2:32.13.

Scotland's Faye Rogers won gold in 2:29.61.

Aussie duo Sam Williamson and Zac Stubblety-Cook will contest for the medals in the men's 100m breaststroke.

All three qualified for Sunday's AEST final.

Williamson (59.27) was second fastest behind England great Adam Ramsay-Peaty (59.19).

Stubblety-Cook (1:00.36) was the seventh fastest from the two semis.

Fellow Australian Bailey Lello (1:00.83) didn't make the final.

The men's gymnastics team final competition has been delayed after Englishman Gabriel Langton fell on the high bar.

It looks like he's landed straight on his head and neck. He is receiving medical attention as falling at that height and angle is very dangerous. Horrible scenes here.

Langton lied still on the mat to start with but appears to be moving now. The arena is quiet as the 19-year-old is being moved onto a stretcher. We're not being showed any images on the broadcast, and rightfully so.

Wishing him the very best. We'll update you if we get further details as the gymnasts begin to make their way back to competition.

Australia are currently sitting in third place with just one apparatus to go — the pommel horse.

Look, I know it's early days, but this is VERY NICE to see.

Alexandria Perkins touches the wall in first (25.48) in the second semi final!! She is the fastest qualifier so will be in lane four for tomorrow's final.

Lizzy Dekkers touched the wall in 27.17 which was seventh in the first semi final and means she'll miss out. The 200m butterfly is her main event, the 50m is just a bonus.

Australian duo Henry Allan and Isaac Cooper advanced to the men's 50m backstroke final.

Allan was second in the first semifinal, stopping the clock in 24.87.

Cooper finished third in the second semi, hitting the wall in 24.85.

He was fourth fastest into the final, with Allan fifth.

Following her medal ceremony, Lani Pallister made her way through the mixed zone.

Speaking about her mother Janelle (1990 4x200m freestyle relay gold medallist) and godmother Dawn Fraser, this is what she had to say.

I'm really excited that I was able to set the tone for the meet and throw down another sub-four minute 400-metre freestyle.

I'm sure that everyone else throughout the week is going to build and do incredible things for Australia.

Just to be able to be the first one, it's amazing continuing on what my mum was able to achieve in 1990 and obviously Dawn throughout her whole career as well.

JENNA FORRESTER TAKES GOLD IN THE 200M BACKSTROKE FINAL!!!!

An extraordinary swim for someone who just picked up a bronze in the 400m freestyle.

Forrester wasn't anywhere near the podium with 100m to go but pulled a miracle out of the bag. She touched the wall in 2:08:17, an almost 2 second PB.

"I don't know what to say and didn't expect it to happen," she says after the race.

"I gave it my all and I'm so proud of myself. I am shocked."

Aussie Hannah Fredericks picked up a bronze medal, which is just sensational, in a time of 2:09:02. Iona Anderson finished in sixth place.

Here are the final standings:

🥉: Hannah Fredericks (Australia) 2:09.02

A strong start from Fredericks in lane four and Anderson as well.

Fredericks leads at the halfway mark followed by Shanahan of Scotland.

Here we go, another three chances for medals in the women's 200m backstroke!

We have Jenna Forrester (who just collected her bronze medal in the 400m freestyle so quick turnaround!!) in lane 3, Hannah Fredericks (our fastest qualifier) in lane 4 and Iona Anderson in lane 2.

Remember, Kaylee McKeown would have competed in this event but medically withdrew due to glandular fever.

There are a lot of equations involved in para powerlifting at the Commonwealth Games with just two classes – light and heavyweight.

Athletes' lifts are measured against their body weight, instead of simply lifting in more specific categories with everyone in closer weight groups.

In April, Hani Watson told ABC Sport she'd rather be in more specific weight classes but her coach had some simple advice for her.

"I certainly like to be within my own cohort. You compete against your own cohort all the time and you don't really have to think about it other than the weight on the bar," she said.

"With Commonwealth Games it becomes a little bit trickier where you've got to watch your weight and I've got to rely on [coach Simon Bergner] to watch the scoreboard.

"One point or half a point or .01 of a point can make the difference between medalling and not medalling. He has to concentrate on that but I have it in the back of my mind.

"He always tells me 'just stay fat, lift heavy and you'll be right'."

Whatever the tactic, it worked again tonight for one of Australia's most lovable athletes.

Despite winning her first Commonwealth Games gold, Lani Pallister wasn't impressed with her time (3:59.56).

Pallister just spoke with the Seven Network.

I'm not super stoked with the time. I feel like you probably could have seen that on my face at the end.

But my first title for the week, it's important to build and keep going and just move on from it.

I'm excited to keep going through.

Australian heavyweight Hani Watson has won bronze in the para powerlifting for the second straight Commonwealth Games.

Weighing in at 121.8 kilograms, Watson powered through lifts of 140kg, 144kg and 147kg for a best score of 111.5.

Just as in Birmingham, she had two powerful Nigerians ahead of her.

2022 gold medallist Folashade Oluwafemiayo has outdone herself yet again to win again.

In Birmingham she won with world record lifts for a Games record score of 123.4. In 2026, both she and Watson arrived in Glasgow 21 kilos heavier and lifted like it.

Oluwafemiayo, who is 15 kilos lighter than Watson, monstered through 165, 172 and 175 like they forgot to put the plates on for comfortably the best lift in the 86kg+ class.

She was joined on the podium by compatriot Rita Ferdinard, who also lifted a world record in the 79kg class, cleanly re-racking 158 kilos for silver.

No podium for the Australians in this final, unfortunately.

William Petric was just outside the medals by 67 milliseconds in fourth place with a 1:58:70. Brendon Smith touched in 8th place.
