A section of the M6 motorway is closed in Staffordshire following a "serious" crash involving two lorries, with emergency services rushing to the scene.

The motorway in Staffordshire has been shut southbound near Stoke between J15 Hanchurch Interchange (Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Eccleshall A500) and J14 Creswell Interchange (Stafford (N) A34).

All emergency services, as well as National Highways Traffic Officers, have responded to the incident with drivers now warned they face delays up to an hour and a half.
