The Madras Management Association (MMA) is set to celebrate its Platinum Jubilee Annual General Meeting and Awards Function on Friday, 10, July 2026, in Chennai.
Founded in 1956 with just 12 members, MMA is a professional institution with over 9,000 members.
The Platinum Jubilee celebration marks 70 years of MMA’s service to management education, leadership development, industry engagement and nation-building.
As part of this occasion, MMA will launch several special initiatives, including the Platinum Jubilee MMA Awards for Managerial Excellence, the Special Platinum Jubilee Issue of Business Mandate, Volume 3 of Turning Points: Management Lessons from Legends, the Platinum Jubilee Coffee Table Book, and the Platinum Jubilee Logo. The event will also feature a special tribute to the Past Presidents of MMA, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the growth, stature and legacy of the Association.
A major highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the prestigious 24th MMA Awards for Managerial Excellence 2026. This year’s winners include ELGI Equipments Limited, Apollo Hospitals, Indus Life Sciences Private Limited, and SSN College of Engineering.
Thomas Dose, Managing Director, BMW Group Plant, Chennai, will deliver the Valedictory Address and present the awards to the winners.
The Hindu Group and the The Hindu businessline are the media partners for the MMA Awards for Managerial Excellence.
