The Substance star, 31, and record producer, 42, first met in 2021 and tied the knot in a lowkey wedding in 2023, a year after announcing their engagement.

However, days after their relationship was met with scrutiny over Margaret’s no-show at Taylor Swift’s wedding last week - where Jack attended with his fashion designer sister - insiders have claimed that their romance is over.

A source confirmed the news to People Magazine, describing their current relationship as “rocky” - but another insider added that they are said to be “figuring things out”.

Neither have spoken publicly about the claims, with the Grammy-winner currently on tour with his band, the Bleachers, while the actress prepares for her upcoming role in horror movie Possession.

They were first with speculation over the state of their marriage in recent weeks, after Margaret appeared to remove pictures of their wedding from her Instagram account.

She also changed her handle on the social media platform, switching from “isimostar” - which is a reference to the Bleachers’ 2024 song, Isimo - to “sarahmargaretqualley23”.

While it feels like every celebrity under the sun arrived at Madison Square Garden last week for Taylor Swift’s wedding, she was notably absent. Instead, Jack attended the nuptials with his sister, Rachel Antonoff.

The couple first started dating five years ago, confirming their romance when they were spotted kissing in Brooklyn. They got engaged the following year, before walking down the aisle in New Jersey in 2023.

Taylor, Channing Tatum, Zoe Kravitz, Lana Del Rey and Cara Delevingne were just some of the names in attendance - however, their celebrations were interrupted by crowds of fans, hoping to get a glimpse of the Shake It Off singer.

Before their big day, Margaret made a rare comment about her relationship with the Grammy-winner, heaping praise on their bond. She told Harper’s Bazaar: “It’s really exciting now to be making a home and to have something to care for. I just want to do everything with Jack. One day I want kids.”

The Mirror has approached reps for Jack and Margaret for a comment.
