— Expanding its global manufacturing footprint, prominent U.S.-
based medical device developer Rhythmlink officially inaugurated its state-of-the-art production facility on Thursday. Specializing in the custom engineering and volume fabrication of specialized neurodiagnostic and neurological monitoring components, the corporate milestone positions the brand to significantly ramp up delivery pipelines for its escalating international clientele.
The newly constructed infrastructure is situated inside the premier, sustainability-focused logistics hub The GreenPark, localized in the highly coveted industrial ecosystem of El Coyol, Alajuela. Backed by private equity parent firm Graham Partners, this capital intensive operation is structurally designed to support the soaring worldwide clinical adoption of continuous brain monitoring technologies.

Advanced Industrial Footprint and Clinical Portfolio

The facility’s architectural and operational design integrates strict environmental compliance and manufacturing agility. Structurally split into key performance sectors, the complex allocates substantial square footage to scalable assembly floors and executive coordination zones.

The plant is actively engineered to mass-manufacture high-sensitivity electrodes, specialized sensors, and ergonomic accessories essential for clinical diagnosis and surgical protection. These precision instruments serve as critical components during delicate
electroencephalograms (EEG) to map brainwaves, electromyographies (EMG) to record neuromuscular pathways, and intricate intraoperative monitoring setups that protect nervous system integrity in real-time during major surgeries.

“The strategic opening of Rhythmlink Costa Rica represents an exceptional milestone born directly from public-private synergy. By combining the country’s business-friendly framework with our private technology, we are actively strengthening the depth and capability of Costa Rica’s advanced medical device ecosystem.” — David Venegas, Site Director, Rhythmlink Costa Rica.

Labor Force Scaling and Specialized Technical Hiring

According to formal updates issued directly through the Ministry of Foreign Trade (Comex), Rhythmlink’s talent acquisition strategy follows a multi-phase growth curve. The corporation will jump-start local operations utilizing an agile team of 60 initial collaborators over the first calendar year. However, as production lines scale to meet demand, management explicitly plans
to scale the headcount up to 300 personnel over a 24-month horizon.

Target Professional Profiles

The human resource department has opened recruitment pipelines across multiple disciplines, seeking both operational expertise and technical engineering credentials. The primary roles
include:
Engineering Professionals: Manufacturing, process development, and automation
engineers.
Specialized Technical Teams
: Equipment maintaining technicians and cleanroom environmental specialists.
Precision Assembly Operators: Manual and automated micro-assembly personnel. Quality Control Inspectors: Quality assurance specialists fluent in ISO 13485 medical standard compliance.
Candidates eager to secure a position in this high-tech medical environment are advised by corporate communications to monitor the enterprise’s verified LinkedIn page closely, where all official job postings, candidate selection guidelines, and talent portal access points will be exclusively updated.

A Milestone for Latin American Expansion

Arianna Arce, Costa Rica’s Vice Minister of Foreign Trade, emphasized the global context of the announcement, confirming that this state-of-the-art facility represents Rhythmlink’s inaugural brick-and-mortar manufacturing hub anywhere in Latin America. The transition highlights the country’s unique position as a stable, high-yield alternative to traditional nearshoring
environments. “Rhythmlink perfectly exemplifies the precise style of high-value investment that Costa Rica actively seeks to court: technology-driven, export-focused manufacturing that enriches the technical know-how of our national workforce,” Vice Minister Arce stated. With this launch, Costa Rica continues to reinforce its reputation as a dominant, tier-one clusters hub for global life sciences manufacturing.
