Operations are now getting back to normal at Metro Vancouver’s wastewater treatment plant in Richmond. This comes after a malfunction resulted in raw sewage being pumped directly into the ocean on Thursday afternoon. The regional district says it experienced a service disruption at around 2:40 p.m. after an unusual volume of rock debris jammed its screening equipment. Darya Zargar reports.
