In a collaboration that has thrilled fans, Mohanlal announced an upcoming project, titled Nedumkandam Miracle, directed by Dileesh Pothan, on Friday (July 03, 2026) via his Instagram handle.

Penned by Syam Pushkaran and Paulson Skaria, Nedumkandam Miracle will be produced by Achu Baby John under the banner of John & Mary Creative. The film’s distribution will be handled by Bhavana Release, co-owned by Dileesh, Syam and Fahadh Faazil.

The film boasts a lineup of proven technicians — Shyju Khalid as the cinematographer, Sushin Shyam as the composer and Saiju Sreedharan as the editor.

Nedumkandam Miracle will be Dileesh’s fourth directorial project. He made his debut in 2016 with Maheshinte Prathikaaram. His last venture was Joji, which was directly released on OTT in 2021.

The filming of Nedumkandam Miracle is scheduled to take place across various locales, including Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki, and Chennai.

Mohanlal was last seen in the crime thriller Drishyam 3. His upcoming projects include Athimanoharam, Thudakkam, and Khalifa.

Dileesh, also an actor, was recently seen on the big screen in Sathyathil Sambhavichathu, directed by Prashant Mohan and Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval.

Syam’s last project as a writer was Aashiq Abu’s Rifle Club (2024).
