The NFL is cracking down on rules that break the conduct policy, especially if they are unsportsmanlike in nature. Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has violated those rules, resulting in a massive $14,491 fine.

During the Chiefs' game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2, Kelce caught a ball and picked up some good yardage on the play. However, at the end of said play, he made a gesture that the NFL has labeled as "obscene."
Without describing what the gesture is, the video above showcases exactly what Kelce did to warrant this fine.
As stated, the rules committee is starting to crack down on any sort of action that would be deemed as unsportsmanlike, and that was evident in Week 1 when Eagles star Jalen Carter was ejected for spitting on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

NFL insider Tom Pelissero not only showcased the video that got Kelce in trouble, but he also compiled the total for fines that have been given out by the league.
"Unsportsmanlike conduct is a major emphasis for the NFL. In all, the NFL handed out seven fines totaling $92,743 for such violations in Week 2, bringing the running total this season -- including Jalen Carter's lost game check for spitting on Dak Prescott -- to $222,421."
Over $200,000 has now been dealt out since the start of the regular season for actions that the league deems as "unsportsmanlike." Expect more of these fines to happen in the coming weeks, and they could grow in number should there be repeat offenders.
Along with Kelce in Week 2, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and New York Giants offensive lineman James Hudson were hit with sizable fines.
It will be interesting to see if the NFL starts cracking down even more on these rules and increases the fines that players have to pay if these issues continue to rise.
