Black Bear have revealed the latest trailer for the upcoming comedy Spa Weekend, which stars Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau and Anna Faris.

It follows three childhood best friends, Jane, Coco, and Sophie, as they embark on some much-needed pampering during a luxury girls’ getaway. However, when their trainwreck friend, Mel, turns up, the relaxation quickly descends into chaos with hilarious consequences.

It’s been described as a hilarious and heartfelt comedy in the spirit of Bad Moms (it’s the same directing team behind this one as those hit comedies) and The Hangover. Leslie Mann is most known for Knocked Up and This Is 40. Isla Fisher is most known for Wedding Crashers and Now You See Me. Anna Faris is most known for the Scary Movie franchise and The House Bunny. Finally, Michelle Buteau is most known for Babes.

It is written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, directors of both Bad Moms films and 21 and Over.

The film is produced by Suzanne Todd and John Friedberg, with executive producers Michael Heimler, Troy Lum, Andrew Mason, Llewellyn Radley, and Teddy Schwarzman. Production companies involved are Black Bear Pictures and Suzanne Todd Productions. For the film’s cinematography, they’ve brought in Danny Ruhlmann, with music by Philip White and editing by James Thomas. 

Spa Weekend will release in cinemas on August 21st.
