Singer Peter Andre, 53, spoke about his "first and only ever nose job" in a video to fans saying: "This is something nobody knows."

Peter Andre opened up to fans tonight about his "first and only ever nose job". The singer, 53, said his confidence was boosted during filming "because I didn't have this big nose anymore and I felt comfortable kind of doing all angles".

He shared an Instagram video titled "This is something nobody knows" speaking about making the video to his 1997 song All About Us, which he made with US R&B star Montell Jordan. Peter said: "Would you believe 10 days prior to filming the All About Us video I had my first and only ever nose job.

"When we filmed the video for All About Us it was so surreal. I was filming at these really awesome places that I've heard of - Melrose Place, Pink's Hot Dogs, which is this really famous hot dog place.

"I remember some of the scenes were done there. Dancers for Missy Elliott and for Usher and all these people I was working with and it was so incredible. It came about from Montell you know. I just remember being in awe around that time.

"When I was doing the video for All About Us it was just when I'd had my nose job and it was just before that video. so literally before I went on I had tape on my nose I had to take off, do the scene, go back and put tape on my nose cause it was only like 10 days after.

"But I remember feeling so confident when I was wearing the suits and that was because I didn't have this big nose anymore and I felt comfortable kind of doing all angles." He concluded: "There you go."

Fans were quick to react with one writing: "I prefer your old nose. I kept saying .. he's nose is more pinched." Another agreed: "Was never anything wrong with your nose." However, one posted: "Great nose job."

Peter has spoken in the past about the insecurities he suffered over his nose, telling Abbey Clancy on her podcast Exhibit A: “I remember girls that I used to fancy so much and they’d be like urgh look at his nose I remember it all so clearly. Obviously as an adult looking back I’m thinking I should have just been proud of it but I couldn’t wait to get to the age where I could do something about it.”

He explained he went to a cosmetic surgeon in Los Angeles with a snap of a film star, saying: "I took him a picture of Robert Downey Jr in the film Only You.

"Robert Downey Jr was just this freaking handsome guy and he’d always be side profile I’m like I want my nose to look like that so took a picture of it, took it to this doctor could you make me look like Robert Downey Jr?”

"[He said] 'I'm not a magician' but he said: 'I'll tell you what I can make your nose much better'. Now I'm not saying that my nose looks like Robert Downey Jr but what I will say is the minute that operation happened I felt a sense of relief."

Peter was a huge pop star in the Nineties and later had a career on TV. His appearance on I'm A Celeb with future wife Katie Price catapulted him to greater fame, especially when they married the following year. They had two children, Junior and Princess, before getting divorced in 2009.
