For every ₹100 sales made by non-financial sector companies in the June quarter (Q1FY27), over ₹44 went to cover raw material costs and related expenses, the highest in any quarter since late 2014, showed a Business Standard analysis of data from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).
