Forensic teams have recovered the remains of twenty two more infants from the former Mother and Baby Home in Tuam, County Galway. The institution operated between nineteen twenty five and nineteen sixty one, and records indicate that nearly eight hundred children died there. Experts are carefully excavating the grounds and analysing the remains in hopes of establishing identities. Families and possible relatives are also being encouraged to provide DNA samples for comparison.
