The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi has established a permanent skill development centre at Hiramandalam in Srikakulam district with the aim to equip local youth with employability skills, said a press release issued by the organisation on Monday.
State president R. Lakshmana Rao said that the Samithi would create awareness about the centre and rope in services of experts from various fields to provide training to the youth in the district.
Representatives of the association said that they would take up recruitment drives at the centre for students completing short term and medium term courses.
State Skill Development In-charge K. Naga Prasad said that qualified faculty members would take classes for students enrolling at the centre. The training programme would be coordinated by district president Sura Ramachandra Rao, skill development programme In-charge Boina Narasimha Murthy and other members for the youth of various mandals in the district.
