The Best Value At Costco Isn’t The Hot Dog. It’s This Golf Club.

Orgo-Life the new way to the future

Costco continues to serve the everyday golfer better than any golf brand.

This week, Costco ran a massive sale on the already budget-friendly Kirkland Signature Performance+ golf balls.

And you all know the stories about the Kirkland Signature driver and putters. And Costco probably wants you to forget about the irons and the coinciding lawsuit.

But we can’t forget about the wedges.

Oh, those glorious Kirkland Signature forged wedges. Side note: I’m not sure anyone else on the planet has called Costco’s wedges glorious, but here we are.

I freakin’ mean it.

Where else are you getting a full set of forged, raw-faced wedges for $200?

Say it with me. “Nowhere!”

I can’t in good faith sit here and say that the Kirkland Signature forged wedges are the best you can buy. That’s what our Most Wanted testing is for so I’ll leave it to our testing team to determine how they compare to wedges that cost more than double the price.

But what I can say after hitting hundreds of shots on the range and the golf course with the new wedges is that no golfer on God’s green earth wouldn’t benefit from replacing their old worn wedges with this set.

If you’ve already got a freshie set of SM11s or RTZ2s, you probably aren’t reading this article anyway. But if you’re rocking old wedges and just want the consistency that fresh, unworn grooves provide in a package that looks good AND is affordable?

I’ll say it again: Where else are you getting this kind of value?

It’s purely anecdotal feedback but the wedges feel great. They look pretty darn good. I love the raw face. And, in my time with them, I’ve encountered nothing but predictably reliable performance.

That’s what I’m looking for in a wedge.

I get it. They’re not for everyone. I can tell you they are certainly not for the uber-serious golfer who has been fitted for wedges and has a unique bounce, grind and loft setup that works for their game.

Yeah, the Ksiggies aren’t going to outperform your custom-fit high-bounce lob wedge that you score at will with around the green. Heck, I can’t even tell you what bounce these guys are at.

But what I can tell you is, echoing my earlier statement, Costco is doing more to serve the everyday, recreational golfer than anyone else.

And a legitimately good $200 wedge set is further proof that the Kirkland Signature brand stands on business.

Have you tried the new wedges? Would you try them? I would love to hear your thoughts.
