Globally, toothpaste exports by country totaled US$4.78 billion in 2025.

That dollar amount results from an average 11.1% increase for all international toothpaste shippers over the 5-year period starting in 2021 when global toothpaste exports were worth $4.3 billion.

Year over year, the value of toothpaste exported worldwide flatlined via a 0.3% gain compared to $4.76 billion during 2024.

The top 5 most lucrative exporters of toothpaste are mainland China, Poland, Germany, Slovakia and Mexico. Collectively, that leading quintet accounted for 44.6% of overall sales for toothpaste exported in 2025.

Among continents, suppliers in Europe sold the highest dollar worth of exported toothpaste during 2025 with shipments valued at $2.69 billion or more than half (56.3%) of internationally exported toothpaste. In second place were exporters located in Asia at 26.8% while another 10.9% of worldwide toothpaste shipments originated from North America.

Smaller percentages came from providers in Latin America (3.7%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean, Africa (1.8%), then Oceania (0.5%) led by Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

For research purposes, the 6-digit Harmonized Tariff System code prefix is 330610 for toothpaste or, as it is technically called, dentifrices including those used by dental practitioners.

Below are the 15 countries that exported the highest dollar value worth of toothpaste during 2025.
