Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayCosta Rica is world-renowned for its breathtaking coastlines, but a pair of popular travel influencers believe they have officially found the crown jewel of the country’s beaches.
The Cuban content creators, widely known across social media platforms as Los Robertos, recently documented their journey to what many travelers consider a must-visit tropical paradise. Their destination? The famous Playa Conchal in the Guanacaste province.
“We are at Playa Conchal, the beach you all recommended we visit the most here in Costa Rica, and supposedly it’s the most beautiful in the entire country. We came to check it out for ourselves,” they shared with their followers.
Crystal-Clear Waters and a Unique Shoreline
During their visit, the duo was immediately struck by the beach’s distinct features, particularly the vibrant, crystal-clear blue color of the water and the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere of the Guanacaste landscape.
However, the most surprising element for the creators wasn’t just the water, but the ground beneath their feet. True to its name (conchal translates to “shell heap”), the beach famously lacks traditional sand.
“Something that really catches our attention about this beach is that it doesn’t have sand—it has crushed shells. I think that’s why it’s called Conchal.”
Despite being made up of millions of tiny, weathered shell fragments, the influencers noted that walking on the shore was surprisingly comfortable and didn’t cause any discomfort.
A Hidden Paradise Worth the Trek
Getting to Playa Conchal requires a short walk, a detail Los Robertos made sure to highlight for future travelers. Ultimately, they assured their audience that the minor effort is well worth it the moment you lay eyes on the ocean.
“We got into the water and it’s amazing, incredible, and with this heat, this water is wonderful,” they noted. They also expressed fascination at how drastically Playa Conchal differed from neighboring beaches, despite being located just a short distance away from them.
Tips for Future Visitors
While the influencers overwhelmingly praised the destination, calling it a “definite paradise,” they also shared a crucial piece of advice from local residents:
- Watch the tide: Locals warned that the waves and undercurrents at Playa Conchal can become quite strong at certain times of the day, so swimmers should always exercise caution.
The Debate: Is It Truly the Best?
The video sparked an immediate wave of engagement in the comments section. While hundreds of users passionately agreed that Playa Conchal holds the title for Costa Rica’s best beach, others jumped in to offer their own hidden favorites.
Among the top recommendations left by locals and seasoned travelers for the influencers’ next stops were Playa Rajadita and Playa Penca—two pristine spots known for their untouched, secluded beauty.
