U.S. President Donald Trump ‌on Wednesday told reporters there had been "tremendous unity" at the ‌NATO summit in Turkey and also promised to increase U.S. defence production. "They (European nations) want ‌the American equipment because it works better," Trump said at a press conference. "I provided other leaders with an update on the steps we're taking to ‌rapidly scale up production in the United States. And they wanted to hear that, because they don't really want to get it in four years, five years, they ‌want to get it like in a week." Adding to that, Trump said the leaders of NATO "love" him. "These are grown people saying that, isn't that nice? Maybe that, I don't know, maybe they're trying to get to me. And in a way, they did because there was tremendous unity." Trump defended his handling of the Iran war and called it a "tremendous success." He said he didn't think the war with Iran would start again, "I think it's going to go very quickly." "When they hit, we hit 10 times harder," Trump said.
