Black Bear has announced the UK and Ireland release date for Gregg Araki‘s I Want Your Sex as the 28th of August.

The film tells the story of Elliot (Cooper Hoffman), a twentysomething whose fantasies quickly come true when he lands a job with renowned artist and provocateur Erika Tracy (Olivia Wilde). When Erika breaks down office boundaries and takes Elliot on as her sexual muse and subordinate, their sexually charged relationship makes him question his own desires, boundaries, and relationships.

The film marks Araki’s first feature film in more than a decade and has already generated significant buzz following its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. It’s been praised for its fearless approach to sexuality, while Wilde’s performance has been highlighted as one of the movie’s major strengths.

The film also boasts an impressive supporting cast including Charli XCX, Daveed Diggs, Mason Gooding, Chase Sui Wonders, Johnny Knoxville and Margaret Cho.

I Want Your Sex is set for UK cinemas on 28th August.
