Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayIf you’ve been dreaming of a beautiful titanium Jones bike, now’s the time. Jones Bikes has a cult following for their unique aesthetic, balanced and comfortable riding position, and geometry that works well for touring, commuting, bikepacking, and technical trails—whether you’re loaded or not. When their models are restocked, they usually sell out fast.
Today marks an exciting step forward for the titanium Jones lineup, as all of their titanium LWB (long wheelbase) and SWB (short wheelbase) models are now specced with SRAM UDH rear dropouts to allow for SRAM Transmission drivetrains, and both the frame and fork use 180mm post-mount brakes with a max rotor size of 220mm. It’s hard to see in the photos, but the post-mount tabs use braces and replaceable barrel nuts, in case anything happens to the mounting points.
The update includes the LWB Spaceframe ($4,845) and LWB Diamond Frame ($4,495) framesets, and the SWB Spaceframe ($4,845) and SWB Diamond Frame ($4,495). All models feature the same titanium truss fork. The Spaceframe models offer more standover, while the Diamond Frame versions prioritize more space in the main triangle. You can read more about the different models here.
Jones has also opened 10 slots for their Custom Select Program, which allows customers to choose their desired frame and fork and then work one-on-one with Jeff Jones to select every individual component for the build. Past riding experience and goals will determine the selection, and as Jones puts it, “Parts are based on what will work best for you, not on trends or high price tags.” Jones Custom Select bikes range from about $3,500 to $11,000+.
