The overall value of imports into the United States of America furnished by its northern neighbor reduced by an average -6.9% year over year from 2024 when America’s purchases from suppliers located in Canada were valued at $422.2 billion.

In comparison, the US exported $329.8 billion worth of products to buyers in Canada in 2025. US export sales to Canada slowed by -5.4% from $348.5 billion for 2024.

As a result, America incurred a -$63.2 billion deficit trading goods with Canada during 2025, slimming by -14.2% from -$73.7 billion in red ink one year prior.

Highlighted below are the 100 most valuable imports and exports exchanged by the United States and Canada during 2025.

This research is based on the detailed four-digit Harmonized Tariff System code level.

Information in this article is presented in two searchable document databases for the top 100 trade products between the two North American countries.
