A new report from the University of Calgary is warning that the federal government’s plan to privatize four of Canada’s largest airports could cost air traveller’s even more. The report, released Thursday, says rules around fees charged by private investors must be made law before bids open. Vancouver International Airport could be the first candidate of privatization, with indigenous groups at the table for a possible stake.
