The Wallabies have slumped to a 13th straight defeat to the All Blacks, with their trans-Tasman rivals recording a convincing 43-21 victory at Sydney's Stadium Australia.

The result meant the All Blacks swept the two-Test Bledisloe Cup series, having thrashed the Wallabies 50-19 at Auckland's Eden Park a week ago.

A dominant first half from the visitors set up this afternoon's win.

They scored six tries to one to lead 36-7 at half-time, before extending their lead to 43-7 shortly after the break when winger Josh Moorby completed a double.

To the Wallabies' credit, they refused to give up.

Tom Wright and Filipo Daugunu crossed the stripe for the home side, but the two converted tries only served to limit the damage on the scoreboard.

Alongside Moorby, All Blacks veteran Beauden Barrett touched down for a brace of tries, with his second coming after a 70-metre dash to the line.

The Wallabies had high hopes before the back-to-back Bledisloe Cup Tests, but they are forced to return to the drawing board.

Coach Les Kiss and his squad will now turn their attention to their remaining Nations Championship Tests in the UK.

They play England (November 9, AEDT), Scotland (November 16) and Wales (November 22).

The Wallabies will have to wait until next year's historic Anzac Day Test in Brisbane to face the All Blacks again.

Earlier on Saturday, the Wallaroos scored a massive 56-12 win over Scotland to kick off the quadruple header.

It is the Wallaroos' second straight win over the Scots, and they will meet again in Canberra on Friday night.

Meanwhile, the world champion Australian women's sevens team fell to New Zealand in their preseason match, 21-12.

In the men's sevens match, which was also a preseason fixture, Australia drew 19-19 with Fiji.

It is the first time all four of Australia's national rugby teams have appeared on the same match-day schedule.

Look back at how the action unfolded in our live blog.

Another fair point

Reality is we're a second-tier nation. We have unrealistic ambitions. We will likely get to the quarters but no further at the w/c.

Some fair feedback

Les Kiss is a good coach but I don't understand the starting line up.... Suaalii at centre and Bell on the bench....it wasn't a strong starting line up. 2nd half was better but a shocking first half

Wallabies have much to ponder

The last two weeks has undone a lot of the improvement from the last few years unfortunately

Farewell from the stands

The final result was anti-climactic compared to the build-up, but the same could be said for the past couple of decades when it comes to the Bledisloe.

ABC Sport expert commentator Nick Phipps thinks the Wallabies can take positives into the spring tour.

"The Wallabies won that second half, they tightened things up," he said.

"They'd take a bit out of that. They know what they can do when they aim up, focus, keep their hands on the ball."

It was an enjoyable day here overall and the fans still kept the atmosphere festive, even with the one-way traffic in the final game of the day.

In future I'd like to see the Wallaroos kick off a bit later in the day though, there weren't too many people here at 12pm.

But it was good to see the promotion around the women and the sevens teams in the lead-up to today.

That's all from me at the ground, a mixed bag for Australian rugby supporters today, but hey, at least we had some fun along the way!

All Blacks know they're 'awesome'

All Blacks captain Codie Taylor also spoke with Nine.

I thought we backed up a really good performance from last week.

I thought we were awesome in that first 40 (minutes), just backing ourselves.

But Taylor felt the All Blacks let themselves down in the second half when they were outscored by the Wallabies 14-7.

That second 40 was a bit different.

Wallabies post-mortem

Wallabies are pathetic. It makes a bit of a mockery of us hosting a world cup where we are not competitive with the leading nations.

Wallabies left 'gutted'

Wallabies skipper Harry Wilson has spoken to the Nine Network after full-time.

I'm gutted. When you give a team like the All Blacks that head start, it's tough. It's not good enough from this group.

We've got to be a lot better.

It's been a very disappointing series. We're going to have to re-group and improve a lot.

Wilson adds:

We've got to start better.

FT: All Blacks defeat Wallabies 43-21

All Blacks celebrate a try.(Getty)

The All Blacks reign supreme yet again!

They have now won 13 Tests in a row against the Wallabies.

A dominant first half from the All Blacks set up the victory.

Although the Wallabies played through to the final whistle, they were never in the hunt during the second half.

The All Blacks, who led 36-7 at the break, scored seven tries to three for the match.

They had already secured the Bledisloe Cup, maintaining their stranglehold of the silverware.

The Wallabies will have to wait until next year, having handed the Cup over back in 2003.

76' All Blacks cop yellow card

Chay Fihaki has left the field via a yellow card following head-on-head contact with Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii.

The All Blacks are down 13 players due to Fihaki's yellow and earlier injuries among their reserves.

But they won't be denied victory from this point.

74' Wallabies debut for McLaughlin-Phillips

Congratulations to Harry McLaughlin-Phillips, who comes on to make his Test debut for the Wallabies.

He replaces Declan Meredith at fly half.

73' Wallabies waste another chance

The Wallabies are awarded a penalty after being tackled off the ball inside All Blacks territory.

But the kick for touch misfires, and the All Blacks have a scrum feed.

Big crowd

The official crowd figure is in, with 73,399 fans filling Stadium Australia.

That's a very good turnout considering this was a dead rubber.

And that Daugunu try has given them a bit of an extra lift and helped make the score line look a bit more respectable too.

67' Wallabies score third try!

Filipo Daugunu scores for the Wallabies!

After the All Blacks were held up over the goal line, the Wallabies regained the ball from the drop-out.

They run almost the length of the field, with Daugunu finishing off the movement.

The conversion is made — the All Blacks lead 43-21.

Can the Wallabies win from here?

Unlikely.

But they can't improve their standing on the scoreboard.

66' All Blacks held up

Great defence from the Wallabies, as they hold up Samisoni Taukei'aho over the line.

You're not wrong!

I hate to say it but I think you’re going to need a bigger live score board Luke ! It’s full up.

65' All Blacks cleared of foul play charge

We mentioned how Declan Meredith almost scored earlier.

We're now going back to that play from minutes ago, with All Blacks scrum half Cam Roigard under the microscope.

Roigard is being accused of kicking the ball out of Meredith's hands.

But referee Luke Pearce regards the play as "dynamic" and it's ruled there was no foul play.

Wallabies look down and out

The Wallabies' body language is not good.

Even after Tom Wright scored his try, their heads were down as they trudged back for the re-start.

They look tired and deflated, and it's a shame the big crowd here couldn't be treated to a closer spectacle.

As a mega Mexican wave sets off around the stands, the fans are maintaining high spirits - they've gotten used to this after all.

In one year's time, these sides will meet here again in the pool stage of the Rugby World Cup.

The question is will that be enough time for Les Kiss to turn this team around into a genuine contender?

62' Meredith denied over line

How close was that!?

Wallabies fly half Declan Meredith made his way to the line with a brilliant weaving run.

But as he reached out to ground the ball, the All Blacks dislodged the pill to deny the Wallabies a try.

61' All Blacks waste chance

The All Blacks had the chance to go on the attack once more down the left wing, but a knock-on ends what appeared to be a promising movement.

Meanwhile, there was some genuine concern for All Blacks reserve forward Shannon Frizell.

Frizell appeared to pick up a lower-leg injury.

Hurricanes hero Du'Plessis Kirifi comes on to replace Frizell.
