It seems that U.S. President Donald Trump has noticed that surging diesel prices are a potential threat, not only to farmers’ livelihoods, but also to his own. Trump is attempting to give diesel drivers some relief from surging oil prices, by signing an executive order that aims to allow all drivers to use a particular type of diesel — red-dyed diesel — that’s exempt from highway taxes.
