The AIADMK on Tuesday announced that it would set up “24x7 War Rooms” at all the district headquarters to prevent and monitor incidents of violence against women, if elected to power in the Assembly elections. 

In a last-minute set of promises, taking its total tally of electoral assurances to 307, party general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami stated that a grant of ₹10,000 each would be given to 10 lakh working young men for the purchase of two-wheelers.
