When a large number of mutual fund schemes invest in the same stock, it often indicates strong institutional interest and can boost retail investor confidence. As of September 2026, data show that 288 stocks were held by more than 100 mutual fund schemes, highlighting the extent of mutual fund participation across these companies.
An ETMarkets analysis found that 50 of these stocks had gained more than 25% since the beginning of CY26. Among them, 10 stocks delivered returns ranging from 75% to 205% during the first nine-and-a-half months of the calendar year.
