Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior is set to sign a new contract at the club amid transfer interest from Arsenal.

According to reports, the Brazilian is on the verge of accepting the new terms provided by the Spanish giants, after two years of negotiations.

With just one year left on his current deal, Vinicius was pushing closer to terms that would see him among the highest-paid players on the planet, alongside team-mate Kylian Mbappe.

And it appears he will get what he is after, and Arsenal’s transfer pursuit of the 26-year-old will end in failure.

It is not all doom and gloom for the Premier League champions, though, as they are set to land Vinicius’ international team-mate, Bruno Guimaraes.
