Camp and Go Slow, owned by Casey Clark, started by making stickers and its iconic bar tape. These days, the small brand has been releasing some of the coolest collaborations we’ve seen, regularly teaming up with other makers on limited batches of bags and apparel. The latest is a doozy, as Camp and Go Slow is working with Rockgeist in North Carolina on a custom frame bag program.
The custom Camp and Go Slow framebags are ordered via their webshop but require a PhotoFit template to be sent to Rockgeist, who then makes each bag. There are plenty of options available, including bag style (full, half, or wedge), the fabric (nine options for now, basically all the earth-tone X50 and X11 stuff), and your Camp and Go Slow trim tape, which is modeled after their bar tape designs.
Just like ordering a bag from Rockgeist, you can add options like a second color, a map pocket, double-decker zips, bolt-on or lace-up attachment, and internal organization options like hang loops for a pump and an AirTag pocket. Each bag has a drain port, uses durable molded #10 YKK zippers, and is made with a 1050D ballistic nylon spine fabric. Once the order is placed, it’s automatically sent to Rockgeist and put in their queue, which is usually 5-6 weeks. After they receive the PhotoFit info, they build the bag and ship it directly to the customer.
Pricing varies depending on add-ons and features, but full and wedge bags start at $240, and half bags start at $220 USD. Shipping is included in the price.
