Shoot-out hero Tomas Cvancara brushed aside chaotic pitch disturbances after guiding Celtic to victory over Rangers - despite blood visible on his shirt. The Borussia Monchengladbach loanee made a crucial impact on derby day after entering as a substitute to trouble the Rangers' backline in the Scottish Cup thriller.

The towering forward dispatched his penalty past Jack Butland following extra-time to secure a semi-final berth for the Hoops.

After the decisive moment, unsavoury scenes unfolded at Ibrox as supporters flooded onto the pitch. Police stepped in when fans from the home section moved towards the Celtic supporters in retaliation.

There were allegations that a member of Celtic's coaching staff had been assaulted during the disorder. Cvancara was spotted getting involved in an on-field incident.
