Disney has released first look images from the upcoming second season of Chad Powers, starring Glen Powell and Perry Mattfield. It will premiere on Hulu in September.

The series debuted on Hulu in September 2025. It follows disgraced college quarterback Russ Holliday (Powell) who disguises himself as Chad Powers at a struggling southern football team, the fictional SEC, to revive his football career.

Alongside Powell and Mattfield, the cast includes Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia Yeager, Frankie Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Coach Jake Hudson.

The new season sees Chad Powers remaining a superstar on the field but his odd behavior off it has everyone suspicious – especially Coach Hudson and Gerry. The walls are closing in on Russ’s lie, and if he and Danny want Chad to survive the regular season and lead the Catfish to the CFP, the only person who can help them is the last person who wants to: Ricky.

Chad Powers is based on Eli’s Places segment from ESPN and Omaha Productions. Powell and Michael Waldron co-created the series, which is produced by 20th Television.
